Congestion

The 5GHz band, on the other hand, is less congested and has more open radio air and channels, with 23 operational channels compared to 11 in the 2.4GHz range. Cost

Keep in mind that access points that support 5GHz are more expensive than those that support 2.4GHz. This is since 5GHz is a newer technology on the market. In addition, many 5GHz devices also include 2.4GHz radios.
