In this article, We will talk about why you should wait on upgrading to windows 11
Have you upgraded your Windows 10 to Windows 11?
Well, if you haven’t, then you should read this article. Microsoft has urged almost all Windows 10 users to upgrade their OS to Windows 11.
Now, usually, you get windows 10 updates that fix the bugs or install some security features. You just have got no choice but to install those updates.
But, when Microsoft is asking for Windows 11 update, you have the full freedom to ignore it.
So, Why should you not upgrade to Windows 11?
There are some very good reasons that may restrict you from updating to Windows 11.
Those who are fans of Windows 11 may have already upgraded to it. But, as you haven’t still upgraded your windows, you should know about all the flaws Windows 11 have.
1)Some Updates Are Not New
The above words may confuse you. Likewise, you will be also confused to see the new Windows 11 file explorer and start menu.
The main catch is that Windows 11 has the same taskbar as Windows 10. But, the icons and navigation techniques are quite strange.
Nobody knows why Microsoft changed these features and nobody knows why these updates look so unfamiliar. You just have to know every way in and way out to explore windows 11. So, the updates are only updates, but, they have nothing new in them.
2)Not So Functional
The start menu in Windows 11 is not highly satisfying. Like windows 10, Windows 11’s start menu is not at the left corner. It stays at the center of the taskbar. This means, installing new apps would push the start menu to the further left.
You can’t resize the taskbar nor can you move it. Even, the tabbed mode won’t work. Furthermore, the start menu doesn’t allow you to pin apps there directly. After installing an app it goes to the ‘All apps’ section. Then, you have to pin it to the start menu.
Taskbar’s badging system, notifications calendar, and more features will only bore the users. So, stay on Windows 10.
3)Don’t Expect The Biggest Features
Direct Storage technology and Android-style apps are incredibly brilliant features. Windows 11 could have seen a great demand only because of these features.
But, Direct Storage is high-end technology. The technology is made for game lovers. Usually, you may have to save a game before closing it. But, the Direct Storage technology allows a gamer to resume a game exactly from the point the gamer left off. So, without saving a game, you can still launch the game.
But, neither of these things are happening right now. So, you can’t have Direct Storage technology in Windows 11.
Apart from that, the android-like apps running on Windows 11 are not completely ready. This means the new Windows 11 won’t have these two biggest features in it.
So, if you are asking – should I upgrade to Windows 11? then you should think twice.
4)Windows 11 and Bugs
Windows 11 is created with a lot of new codes. Now, these new codes have different types of bugs. You may face OS installation problems and compatibility problems. After upgrading to Windows 11, your computer may become slow or your Internet connection may not work properly.
Some bugs are causing weird memory problems in Windows 11. The RAM in windows 11 isn’t clearing its memory. Naturally, your PC may slow down.
Now, all these bugs may not affect all the computers. But, they exist and Microsoft is trying to fix them.
Some bugs in Windows were used to delete the user data. Now, if you don’t want anything like that, then you should wait for the updates. Let them fix all the bugs and then install your Windows 11.
5)Is Microsoft Pushing You Enough?
The last point you should never overlook is that how eagerly Microsoft wants you to upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11.
When they launched Windows 10, they were pushing all the Windows 8 users to upgrade to Windows 10. Currently, if they are not reminding you every day of Windows 11, then it would be shocking.
Windows 11 should polish a few features and it should fix all of its bugs. Some Windows 10 users are ready to live in the new Windows 11 environment. They can update their windows and they can taste the new Microsoft OS version.
But, some computer users would like to install Windows 11 without any glitches. So, wait and your chance to upgrade to Windows 11 won’t slip away.
Windows 11 is a future OS and it’s not entirely ready yet. So, you should stay on Windows 10, let Microsoft work on Windows 11 bugs, and upgrade when it’s the right time.
